Andreas Wal­brodt

Founder & CEO

Andreas is CEO of enclaive. He has spent more than three decades lever­ag­ing tech­nol­o­gy and inno­va­tion to enable for­ward-look­ing and cre­ative busi­ness mod­els, iden­ti­fy­ing new ven­tures, estab­lish­ing new busi­ness­es, and grow­ing exist­ing teams. Among a diverse set of top­ics and respon­si­bil­i­ties, he has been build­ing busi­ness mod­els for cloud and util­i­ty ser­vices since the ear­ly 2000s. In the last few years, his focus has been on bring­ing secu­ri­ty and pro­tec­tion into increas­ing­ly dis­trib­uted data and process­es. Andreas looks back on more than 15 years with IBM as Sales Direc­tor and 5 years as Mem­ber of the Exec­u­tive Man­age­ment TÜV Rhein­land i‑Sec GmbH.

Prof. Dr. Sebas­t­ian Gajek

Founder & CTO

Sebas­t­ian is CTO of enclaive and pro­fes­sor for IT secu­ri­ty at Flens­burg Uni­ver­si­ty. He has been work­ing for over 10 years on the holy grail of com­put­ing: pro­cess­ing encrypt­ed data. He was Chief Sci­en­tist with NEC, dri­ving their secu­ri­ty inno­va­tion. An alum­nus of Tel Aviv Uni­ver­si­ty, he holds a PhD in Infor­ma­tion Secu­ri­ty from the Horst Görtz Insti­tute, a lead­ing insti­tute for IT secu­ri­ty research in Ger­many. Sebas­t­ian also holds 10+ patents and pub­li­ca­tions in the field of con­fi­den­tial compute.

Ammar Alka­s­sar

Ammar is an expe­ri­enced entre­pre­neur and ven­ture part­ner. He recent­ly served as State Gov­ern­ment Com­mis­sion­er for Strat­e­gy, CIO and Chief Dig­i­tal Offi­cer and was a mem­ber of Germany’s Fed­er­al IT Plan­ning Coun­cil. Before, he was CEO at Rohde&Schwarz Cyber­se­cu­ri­ty, and was a co-founder and CEO at Sir­rix AG secu­ri­ty tech­nolo­gies. Ammar served as mem­ber of the Per­ma­nent Stake­hold­er Group at the Euro­pean Agency for Net­work and Infor­ma­tion Secu­ri­ty (ENISA) and as non-exec­u­tive direc­tor of the Ger­man NIS Asso­ci­a­tion as well as of the Euro­pean Cen­ter for Cybersecurity.

Dr. Rain­er Baumgart

With a doc­tor­ate in physics, Rain­er looks back on a 30-year career in IT secu­ri­ty and held senior posi­tions at RWTÜV AG. As CEO of secunet Secu­ri­ty Net­works AG, he led the com­pa­ny from its found­ing in 1997 until his retire­ment in 2019 to becom­ing a Euro­pean mar­ket leader for high secu­ri­ty tech­nol­o­gy. He con­tin­ues to be involved as a con­sul­tant for secunet and RWTÜV, among oth­ers. On the Euro­pean lev­el, he was an active mem­ber of the ENISA (Euro­pean Net­work Infor­ma­tion Secu­ri­ty Agency) Stakeholder’s Group. Rain­er is a board mem­ber of Euro­bits, an asso­ci­a­tion for cyber­se­cu­ri­ty and part­ner of ECSO. He is also co-founder of ele­Qtron, a start­up com­pa­ny devel­op­ing quan­tum computers.

Prof. Dr. Nor­bert Pohlmann

Nor­bert is Pro­fes­sor for Cyber­se­cu­ri­ty in the Com­put­er Sci­ence Depart­ment and the direc­tor of the Insti­tute for Inter­net Secu­ri­ty – if(is) at the West­phalian Uni­ver­si­ty of Applied Sci­ences Gelsenkirchen. He is also chair­man of the board of the IT Secu­ri­ty Asso­ci­a­tion TeleTrusT and mem­ber of the board of the Inter­net Indus­try Asso­ci­a­tion eco. Since 2020, Nor­bert has been a mem­ber of the ENISA (Euro­pean Net­work Infor­ma­tion Secu­ri­ty Agency) Advi­so­ry Group.
