Privacy policy

Privacy

As far as personal information (such as name, address or e‑mail addresses) is collected on our site, this is done on a voluntary basis, except in the cases expressly described below. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e‑mail) can have security risks. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. You are neither obliged to visit this website nor to provide any personal data. If you do not provide us with personal information, you may not be able to use certain functionalities of this website. Otherwise, there will be no consequences for you.

The use by third parties of contact data published within the framework of the imprint obligation for the purpose of sending advertising and information material not expressly requested is hereby expressly prohibited. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example through spam mails.

Google Analytics

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR) we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website by the user is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website by users, to compile reports on the activities within this website and to provide us with further services associated with the use of this website and the Internet. In doing so, pseudonymous user profiles of the users can be created from the processed data. We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not combined with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the online offer to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Further information on the use of data by Google, setting and objection options, can be found in Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) and in the settings for the display of advertising by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).

The personal data of users will be deleted or made anonymous after 14 months.

Yandex Metrica

This website uses Yandex Metrica, a web analytics service of Yandex OY, Moreenikatu 6, 04600 Mantsala, Finland. With the help of Yandex Metrica pseudonymized visitor data is collected, evaluated and stored on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes in accordance with Art. 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR. Pseudonymized user profiles can be created and evaluated from this data for the same purpose. Yandex Metrica uses so-called “cookies”, i.e. small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the Internet browser of the site visitor. These cookies serve, among other things, to recognize the browser and thus enable a more precise determination of statistical data. The user’s IP address is part of the information collected, but is pseudonymized immediately after the collection and before it is stored by deleting the last octet in order to exclude any possibility of personal reference. The information generated by the cookie (including the pseudonymized IP address) is transferred to a Yandex server and stored there to protect the above interests.

The data collected with Yandex technologies will not be used at any time to personally identify the visitor of this website without the separately given consent of the person concerned, and will not be merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

If you wish to deactivate the evaluation of user behavior via cookies, you can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally.

Alternatively, you can object to the collection of data by Yandex for the future by using an opt-out add-on, which you can obtain from the following website: https://yandex.com/support/metrica/general/opt-out.xml

The personal data of users will be deleted or made anonymous after 14 months.
